At the park with my DCs and just heard a dad call his son Wilfred, looked about 4 years old. Took me by surprise a bit, not heard it for a child before but when he turned round he looked like a Wilfred.

There are lots of little Wilfred's kicking around at the moment. Especially in Edinburgh.

Three friends have little Wilfreds. Rather popular in London. I love it.

I have a nephew called Wilfred, he's known as Wilf. I think it's a great name.
