I've always liked the name but concerned it's going to become the new Alfie. Is it becoming very popular or not so much? Hard to tell I guess!

I don't know any.

It's hard to say really but DS had an Arthur, Alfie and an Albert in his nursery class

Devora · 31/07/2013 22:53

I don't know any, but I love it.

I know one who is two.

Claudia Winkleman has an Arthur.

Think it is increasing in popularity, you might be right about it becoming the new Alfie, though it is not a cutesy so maybe not.

My sis in law has just had a boy called Arthur

Leeds2 · 31/07/2013 23:10

I know one, three months old.

FobblyWoof · 01/08/2013 09:08

I love Arthur.

I don't thimk it's super popular yet but it's on the cusp so I'd probably give it about 5-6 years before it's in the top 20. But that's just a guess. It's on my shortlist so I'm hoping I'm wrong Smile

The last 4 baby boys I've heard of being born have all been Arthur (past 7 months).

They don't know each other, and all come from very different backgrounds, but I was quite surprised. I'm in NI.

It's a much stronger name than Alfie. I love it. I think it's slowly becoming more popular but I doubt it will ever be too 20 as its not everyone's cup of tea.

I don't know any in my daughters' large London primary. There are however two Wilfreds!

pygmy · 01/08/2013 20:26

Super super popular in South East London.

Purplelooby · 01/08/2013 21:23

I know two baby Arthurs.
