Looking for some inspiration, DC3 is due in Oct need a shortlist for a girl or boy and DH and I are struggling to agree on anything!

We would probably have used Amelia or William but can't now due to friends/family, we both have big families so lots we like are ruled out!

On my shortlists would be:

Francesca
Felicity
Tabitha
Matilda

Harrison
Edward
Frederick

Thanks in advance Smile

Matilda and Frederick.

My sisters name so I can't ever use it cheese! Thought I'd share the love, and goes with the vowely ness I think

wigglesrock · 01/08/2013 11:28

From your list I like Francesca and Edward.

I have an Olivia, she's one of 3 girls. Names on the list for her younger sister were :

Juliet
Tess
Nina
Anna
Camilla
Camille

Leo
Dominic
Joseph
Gabriel

Francesca - love this. Sounds great with Olivia and Eleanor
Felicity - nice again, a little more out there compared with older sisters though.
Tabitha- love this. On my list.
Matilda - I just know so many but I do think its best with Olivia and Eleanor

What about keeping all the girls with the vowels?
Olivia Eleanor and Isabella
Olivia Eleanor and Isabelle
Olivia Eleanor and Imogen
Olivia Eleanor and Isla
Olivia Eleanor and Iona
Olivia Eleanor and Amelie
Olivia Eleanor and annabel
Olivia Eleanor and Ava
Olivia eleanor and Antonia
Olivia Eleanor and Arabella

Harrison , Edward, Frederick - like all 3. Wouldn't go with Edward because I can't stand sibs with the same initial, especially if one is left out.

The first boys name that popped into my mind was William but since that's a no go I suggest
Joseph
Jude
Joel
Gabriel
Quentin
Edwin
And for girls
I love Tabitha and Francesca from your list, here's some more lovely girls name suggestions
Marnie
Jennifer
Nina

Thanks again guys, lots of names thst have come up have been "liked" and already discounted, will re discuss with DH later, like Imogen (DH's ex from many years ago!) Eloise was on list for DD2 but think it may be to similar to Eleanor who we call Ella a lot. Have 3 lots of friends with Isabella's, Damn having such large families (I have 16 cousins, DH has 20+) Can't remember why we discounted Quentin, the DD's keep saying Joey for a boy so interesting to see Joseph, Joel and Jonah! Smile

Still struggling to agree, latest option to the table is;

Alicia

I'm open to the possibility of putting Imogen, Annabelle or Madison on list!
Boys names still proving difficult!

Anyone else with any ideas please?

Gabriella? Julia?

Henry? - could then have Harry as a nn and avoid Harrison which doesn't really go with the other names IMO.

KatoPotato · 11/09/2013 15:42

Phoebe.

KatoPotato · 11/09/2013 15:42

Robin -male

Bue · 11/09/2013 20:42

Instead of Alicia (doesn't work for me with the others) what about Alice?

nightcircus · 11/09/2013 20:57

Romilly
Zara
Amber

Samuel
Samson

MrsDibble · 11/09/2013 21:56

Audrey goes well.

I do like your dh's idea of Katherine myself. Goes well with the other two. What about Elizabeth? Charlotte goes well with the two names you have as well. Or Imogen?

MrsDibble · 11/09/2013 21:56

Or sorry, see you have discounted Imogen.

thethreeblondies · 11/09/2013 21:59

I do like Imogen, I've been with dh for 16 yrs and we were 17/18 when we got together, there's bound to be a couple of people who remember his ex but I might be able to get over it Smile

Just in case anyone wants to know Edward George was born just over 2 weeks ago! Big shock having a boy after 2DD's but everyone very much in love with our little man! Had no name for a few days (apart from Batman, thanks DH!) Thanks everyone for the input Grin

Boys names - love Edward but not sure it goes with Eleanor - I'd try or a different initial, Frederick is cool.

BlackberryandNettle · 07/12/2013 21:41

Oh gosh sorry feel very silly now just read back, glad you have it sorted! X
