Dear Wills and Kate, I think he looks like a John.

(DH suggested George Michael as middle names. He said it's what Diana would have wanted Grin)

Kong.

One of the best names for a future King, I think.

WorkingtoohardMama · 24/07/2013 10:59

I'd love it if they called him Samuel, so would my ds!

Ds is friends with a boy called prince, prince prince could work!

VivaLeBeaver · 24/07/2013 11:00

"The last 11 monarchs have been Elizabeth, George, Edward, George, Edward, Victoria, William, George, George, George and George"

Beeyump · 24/07/2013 16:08

Louis!

Shaboa · 24/07/2013 16:09

lol and this is what I saw in another forum: Duayne has been born! and I was like wha!!!!

Phoebe47 · 24/07/2013 16:12

I would love them to give him a scottish name as they met in scotland. Alexander would be a good solid name and then they could add a couple of very traditional royal names that he could choose for his king name when the time comes - Alexander William Charles Michael takes in his dad's name plus both grandfathers and Charles and William useful to use as his king's name when the time comes.

flipchart · 24/07/2013 16:15

lol @ Julia
I was hoping for Tyler as well, just to spite hatchet gob!!

Beeyump · 24/07/2013 16:31

Or perhaps Canute.

fanjodisfunction · 24/07/2013 16:34

Im hoping its either Richard, Arthur or Alfred. I think though it might be George, but hoping it isnt. Cant see it being James (her brother and Edwards boy) Albert (Queen Victoria decreed that no King could be called this) or Henry (thats Harrys name)

BOF · 24/07/2013 16:43

I like David: it is a bit Welshie, and William is William Wales, isn't he? Also, archeologists have discovered the ancient city of the Biblical King David right on the baby's birthday. It's a sign!

I might go to the bookies.

Woodenpeg · 24/07/2013 16:51

LOUIS ALEXANDER CHARLES.

Bet you.

LambethWalk · 24/07/2013 16:55

David was the name that Edward VIII/Duke of Windsor was known by - perhaps not the most popular person within the royal family so this might be unlikely.

Longdistance · 24/07/2013 16:56

Prince Kevin Grin

mothersapron · 24/07/2013 17:00

Brian or Dom Grin

coco87 · 24/07/2013 17:11

Wolfgang. They are German after all.

VerySmallSqueak · 24/07/2013 17:15

Barry.

Jinty64 · 24/07/2013 17:17

Alexander Charles Michael Philip.

womanofthehouse · 24/07/2013 17:23

I was on the phone to my MIL earlier today discussing names, she reckons Spencer could be a middle name because of Diana's maiden name. And I think Kate's dads name (Michael) will also be included somewhere.

AmandaPandtheTantrumofDoom · 24/07/2013 17:24

Richard.

Not too popular. Not too weird.

Not Andrew, Edward, Charles or James as all too close family.

Hang on. What's her dad called. Not that either.

Not Alexander or David. Politicians.

soontobeslendergirl · 24/07/2013 17:26

Won't be Richard.......Dickie - really?

Nope - t'will be Edgar

itsallshitandmoreshit · 24/07/2013 17:31

I want Oliver, is there a reason Oliver is not in the running?

AmandaPandtheTantrumofDoom · 24/07/2013 17:31

Hmmm maybe not. Edgar - doesn't get on well in Lear though

AmandaPandtheTantrumofDoom · 24/07/2013 17:31

Cromwell

Dramamama · 24/07/2013 18:06

Well I love George it's a classic (and also ds's name) it's also good as a little boys and more adult name which is partly why I chose it. A massive part of me wants them to call him something completely out there just for a change. But my money is on George or Alexander
