For a boy?

You know, classical and all that, started the Trojan wars to kidnap Helen of Troy.
It's ok for a boy isn't it?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Paris Hilton... Paris Jackson...?

Definitely not!

DonDrapersAltrEgoBigglesDraper · 18/07/2013 10:22

I know a male Paris, in his 60s/70s. A very flamboyant architect, with 4 wildly-named children.

He can carry it off.

I suspect not too many boys/men, however, would thank you for the name. Paris Hilton has rendered it the worst sort of c-word name out there, and that's for girls. Bestow it on a boy and you might as well start sourcing a good therapist for him now. Wink

OhBuggerandArse · 18/07/2013 10:32

And the classical Paris was a pretty bad lot, really.

What about Hector? Alexander?

reelingintheyears · 18/07/2013 10:41

Not for me, DS1 and his GF.

Anyway, tis now redundant, 20 week scan this morning says a GUUUURRRRRLLLL

Grin Grin

I shall be Grannie to a girl.

Girl, phew!

Paris for a boy is a bit blingtastic Eurotrash.

Bowlersarm · 18/07/2013 11:35

Funnily enough, although it is irrelevant to you now, I think of Paris as a boys name because the first Paris I met was a teenage boy. He must be around 50 now.

BOF · 18/07/2013 12:39

Dodged a bullet there then Grin

I liked Paris for a boy actually, but hey...

Congrats Smile

telsa · 18/07/2013 13:31

I know two male Paris's - one rather posh and one not. Funny, eh.

toni1bump · 20/07/2013 14:37

i like it for a girl! x

thegreylady · 20/07/2013 15:05

Alison Lappa [sp]has a son named Paris.

chilipeppers · 20/07/2013 22:35

Awful for boy or girl!!

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 21/07/2013 12:24

It's a boys name. But still would have been a difficult choice.

cory · 22/07/2013 00:22

In the Iliad, he's a bit of a drip. Hiding in the bedroom and letting others do the fighting. Even Helen doesn't seem to think that much of him.

LookingForwardToMarch · 22/07/2013 15:36

Heard that screamed acros Aldi yesterday

'Oi Paris put it fucking down!!!'

Sounded less classic then.

ParisDavies8 · 05/12/2018 21:45
