Benedict, Joseph, Rudy etc

I'm stumped. Me and DP are coming up with our compromise list after realising we have wildly different taste in names!

So far we have:

Joseph
Benedict (Ben most probably day to day)
Reuben (too popular now?)
Rowan (bit feminine?)

I'm looking for opinions and other suggestions really. Sibling to Lilly-Ann, Jack and Alexandra.

I think they are all nice. Rowan is not especially feminine and I don't know many Reubens.

I should have put on the list Rudy but I can't find a suitable long name for it!

I only know two Rowan's IRL, both female.

Rudy is a lovely name.

Randolph = Randy,Raz

Rudolph = Rudy
The Rowan's are all girls with one much older boy (20s).
Reuben getting vv popular. Started about 9 years ago.
Like Benedict the best.
You have an eclectic choice....Jewish,Irish,Scottish!

I love Rudy - wouldn't bother with a long form. It's a great name by itself.

I have a rudi but slept with an I rather than a y. Its fab!
One of my other boys has Reuben as a middle name, really like it but it is more popular, not massively so tho.

Like rowan, I know a very cute rowan :)

Benedict is nice.

Joseph is fine, its a neither like nor dislike name for me iykwim?

Joseph is way more popular here than the others. So is Ben , all nice though Benedict not my cuppa tea but Ben is nice

I like Rowan.

Rudy sounds like someone very Rude! Like Nicey Grin. And Joseph and Ben are very widely used already.

Or how about Robin, Quentin, Sebastian, Lucas?

I love Joseph, Reuben and Rowan. Also Ben but not keen on Benedict. I don't like rudy.

I love Edward, Noah and Nathaniel but DP doesn't. He now doesn't like Rudy and I'm going off Reuben rapidly. It's a nightmare.

Rudi/y can be Rodolph as well as Rudolph. And a name in its own right!

I think of Rowan as a girls' name.
