Lola or Holly

Dh loves Lola and I am really not keen . I love Holly thoughts please.

Either. They are both beautiful names, personally would go for Holly out of the two as had a dolly called Holly when I was little xx

Out of the two I definitely prefer Holly.

I like both but think that I would go for Holly for a DD. Lola sounds a bit "Showgirl".

I had a dog called Lola. Also the lyrics of the song are actually quite disturbing! Holly lovely :-)

I love Lola-known lots of lovely Spanish girls called Lola and they weren't worried about Barry Manilow!
Holly is nice too-more classic, but just as popular.
I know 3 Hollys and 4 Lolas in dd's year (age 8).

Holly, definitely. More classic. Lola is pretty, can see why your DH likes it. I can't really see it on a grown up woman though.

I like Holly best, I'm afraid I often think Lola is a showgirl or the 21st century equivalent, an 'adult entertainer'. Though I know a lovely little girl called Lola and certainly don't think that of her! How about Lara?
