What 'unique' boys names do you like?

Due in a few weeks and stuck for boys' names. We do not want a really popular name.

We've a few on our shortlist, but I'm still on the lookout for The One! So, do you know any little boys with relatively unique names? Or even just names you think are really nice. And I don't mean crazy, bizarre names... Just not any that are too popular. Thanks.

Loving lots of those names, thanks. A couple of them are actually on our list, but for whatever reason, we're not sure.

Keep 'em coming if you can. Feel like I'm running out of time.

Although not unusual as such , I have a teddy. He's not Edward or anything like that - teddy on his birth certificate. He is usually known as ted.

I also like Oran :)

I was surprised to see this pop up because I had forgotten I had posted it back in 2013.

We named him Milo. It's not at all popular in Ireland where I live and in the year he was born, there were only just over 30 Milos registered. He loves his name and it suits him to a tee.

Currently 2 weeks away from welcoming Number 2 into the world. Likewise, we don't want a name that's too popular. We're considering Wesley (called Wes), Gabriel or Sebastian (but I fear it's getting too popular). I love Rémy, but my dh says no!

5madthings · 11/11/2015 22:03

We had remy on our list,

We have Theodore, Oscar reuben, Dylan lucas and rudi arlo. Then dd Merryn. Expecting number 6, if it's a boy it will be emmett or cassius I think.

I know a Sebastian and a Gabriel bur no Wesley though I did go to school with a Wesley.

5madthings · 11/11/2015 22:04

Milo was on my list Btw but dh said no because of the tweenies.

Notbread · 11/11/2015 22:07

DS is called Wesley. We get lots of positive comments. It's uncommon but not 'weird'.

TattieHowkerz · 12/11/2015 06:32

I was about to suggest Wesley!
Also John.

DS1 is Marvin. Certainly not weird or made-up, yet quite unusual in RL.
I also love Hadrian very much.

Laquila · 12/11/2015 11:30

5madthings - Merryn is my top girls name and I knew you had one, so am pleased to get a look at your boys names too ??

I love Theodore but husband isn't so keen, Cassius or Cassian is being considered for our next, due in a few months. I've just started a new thread with a few of our other options, if anyone's in the market for something in a similar vein!
