Thoughts?

We don't know the sex, but girl will be Adelaide or Emmeline to give you an idea of our taste.

Mega long surname.

We are after something short, not in top 100. Suggestions welcome...

If its twins will you call the other one Tate?

LottieJenkins · 09/07/2013 08:07

Its a lovely name! I always think of the character in Kingdom. Also a close male who I adore is called Lyle! Smile

Caitycat · 09/07/2013 08:10

I thought of Tate and Lyle too I'm afraid, I've never heard of it as a first name before but I don't hate it.

tableandsofa · 09/07/2013 13:21

Sugar or that really ugly bloke Julia Roberts married for a while.

No don't do it.

ZolaBuddleia · 09/07/2013 15:29

Not completely convinced, struggling to think of anything other than sugar or Lyle Lovett.

How about Linus?

AuntieStella · 09/07/2013 15:31

I'd think Tate and...

usualsuspect · 09/07/2013 15:36

I like it.

Cool name.

CanYouGetDownPlease · 09/07/2013 16:50

Not sure on Linus, thanks for the suggestion though.
I can't help thinking Lyle is kinda cool....but I am hormonal and it's very hot!
What do we think of Heath? or have I taken leave of my senses?

Hashtagwhatever · 09/07/2013 16:53

Blaise?

usualsuspect · 09/07/2013 16:59

Heath is dreadful, go and have a cold shower Grin

CanYouGetDownPlease · 09/07/2013 17:02

Ah thanks usual I suspect you may be right.
I can't get over Lyle though - I don't give a shit about the sugar thang. I think we might just do it.

Love it, I know a Luke who is 4 and a total sweetheart. He was named after sandy Luke iirc. Go for it, j usual enough but not out there in any way, perfect.

Kneedeepinshittynappies · 09/07/2013 17:05

Sorry, damn autocorrect, I know a lyle!

NumTumDeDum · 09/07/2013 17:07

Lyle sounds good to me. Is it a standard spelling. I can't get the spelling for aisle out of my head for some reason.

CanYouGetDownPlease · 09/07/2013 17:19

Would you think I was saying Lionel?

ZolaBuddleia · 09/07/2013 18:06

I like Heath! There's a v handsome hairdresser in Soho called Heath.

whattooooodo · 09/07/2013 18:13

I know two Lyles, it's a lovely name

Leeds2 · 09/07/2013 18:30

I prefer Heath to Lyle, but would never use either if I'm honest.

JacqueslePeacock · 09/07/2013 18:32

Sorry I think it's vile (and it rhymes with vile too, which can't be a good thing). Heath is a bit better in my opinion.

MissingMyMarbles · 09/07/2013 18:59

Lyle is a great name! We know a very nice guy called Lyke though so that may have some bearing too

CanYouGetDownPlease · 09/07/2013 19:03

Vile is quite an extreme reaction. Lots of things rhyme, I have a very naice name, it still rhymes with an STI though Smile

JacqueslePeacock · 10/07/2013 00:26

Aha! You're called Flamidia! Or is it Nyphilis?

You're right, vile is a bit strong, and I'd probably come round to it eventually with enough exposure to a lovely baby called Lyle. Still think Heath is a bit nicer though.

NumTumDeDum · 10/07/2013 10:33

Is it Honoria? Grin

PestoSwimissimos · 10/07/2013 10:36

Wait till he gets married,

Lyle going down the aisle....

ZolaBuddleia · 10/07/2013 11:24

Babs? Grin
