Reuben, Dylan or Byron?!

We have a long list of girls names we love, but struggling with boys names. The middle name will be Jack.

What do you think of these names? Any preferences?

Thanks all x

I love Reuben.

Dylan

I really like Reuben. It's on my list but DH won't go for it!

Rhubarbgarden · 05/07/2013 14:20

Byron, but only because to me Reuben is too overtly religious and Dylan too "hey we hang out at festivals".

BlueChampagne · 05/07/2013 14:26

Byron

Love Reuben. Any ideas for middle names?

Dylan

I had a lovely Uncle Byron known in the family as Bysie. He died 28 years ago when he was 45, the same age I am now and is fondly remembered and missed. So I would name your little one Byron. Too many Reubens and Dylans IMO.

I really like Byron (and have secretly just stolen it for my list too)

I like Reuben best. Its on my list. Dh doesn't - he thinks its too Jewish.

I know a dog called Byron...sorry!!

Queazy · 05/07/2013 17:38

Thanks all. I'm thinking Jack as middle name as was DHs grandad's name.
My DH was bit worried about Reuben being too Jewish but Isaac and Jacob are similar and lots of them about now. I didn't know if Byron was a bit 'floppy haired poet' and sounds like it could be. I'd quite like a mini romantic poet but can see it might not fit everyone...!
I'm still a bit torn
