Middle Name for Erin - help!

Had a beautiful baby girl on Friday and finally decided to call her Erin. But I'm stuck on middle names - think I've narrowed it down to:

Erin Amelia
Erin Charlotte
Erin Sophia
Erin Sofia (pronounced So-fire)

Which do you think sounds best? Our surname is Wilson.

Thanks!

NancyOsbourne · 01/07/2013 22:21

Ah congratulations!! Erin is the name, I have a DD called Erin Wink.

I like all of the choices but prefer
Erin Sofia. Or
Erin Sophia

That should read 'Erin is the BEST name'!!

BlueStarsAtNight · 01/07/2013 22:42

I instantly thought Erin Charlotte before I even opened the post so that gets my vote. I also like Erin Sophia. I think Sofia would be forever mis-pronounced but guess that wouldn't matter so much for a middle name. Love the name Erin, congratulations!

All go nicely. Choose the one that sounds best with your surname. Congratulations Brew

DramaAlpaca · 01/07/2013 23:11

I like Erin Amelia & Erin Sophia best.

Congratulations Flowers.

Erin Charlotte Wilson

Not Amelia. EAW sounds like a donkey ;)

squoosh · 02/07/2013 16:09

First thing I thought of was Erin Soup!

Sorry!

CPtart · 02/07/2013 16:48

Erin Charlotte of those.

But Love Erin Louisa, Erin Catherine, Erin Elizabeth, Erin Faye, Erin Alicia.

dinnersinthedawg · 02/07/2013 17:55

Ha, thanks sleepingbeautiful, I didn't think of that!! Was just saying E.A.W. rather than EAW!

Erin Amelia flows really well and sounds good with your surname. The 'I' in Erin is echoed in Wilson, as is the 'L' in Amelia, so it all chimes really well. Erin Charlotte Wilson is choppier (all three names have similar stresses, so it's a bit DUM dee DUM dee DUM dee) and I hear the 'rinse' in Erin Sophia/Sofia too clearly.
NB Am a sad saddo who spends far too much time thinking aboout such things.
Congratulations on your lovely girl, whatever you decide to call her.

BartBaby · 02/07/2013 22:03

I preferred erin amelia until sleepingbeautiful poonted out the initials Grin

I would go with erin sophia or erin charlotte

GW297 · 02/07/2013 23:47

Erin Charlotte

CointreauVersial · 02/07/2013 23:57

We have an Erin Ann. The other middle name we considered was Eve, but it didn't flow very well (remember Airey Neave? Sad).

From your choices, I probably prefer Sophia.

Happy to help - kids can be mean!

If you liked how Amelia sounded, maybe some other more similar sounding name not starting with "A" is what you need?
Erin Louisa is nice that was already suggested...
Erin Isabella
Erin Victoria
Erin Cecilia
Erin Miranda
Erin Georgia
Erin Gabriella
Erin Juliana
Erin Catriona/Katrina
Erin Felicia
