means 'honey' or 'all sweetness' and is my Mums name so would be nice to use it but i can't decide if it is a name for me or not....my mum loves it and would be MADE UP if we named a baby after her..... she tried to get me to be brave and have Honeysuckle for my last DD as a partial naming after her..... what do you lot think of Pamela? Good, bad or just plain ugly....?!?

I really like it! And other 60s names like Belinda. But I've never known one. Barbara is quite cool too!

It's a lovely name BUT every Pamela I have come across ends up being called Pam which is not lovely at all..

It's lovely. But for me you hear 'pamela' you think 'anderson'. Shame though and won't always be the case.

I don't like pam and don't think you'll be able to avoid that.
