I've only ever met one Ava,one Freya and one Orla.

I think the popularity is regional. The three don't seem how have reached the same heady heights of popularity in my area of South Wales as they have in other parts of the UK/Ireland.

I only know one young Ava.

I think it's the nicest of your choices.

I know two young Avas in Dublin.

What about Ada?

LizTerrine · 29/06/2013 18:22

PS - love Freya :)

I'm in the mid-west & have come across a handful of Avas, plenty of Orlas, only one Freya and no Theas.

Depending on where you are, Thea might get pronounced Tia!

squoosh · 29/06/2013 18:27

I like Thea best from your list.

Orla is a bit boring for a girl in Ireland, there are always millions of them.
