Short list with doubts

Unfortunately, the in-laws have a cat called Leo which I'm not too bothered about. Also, the baby's star sign will probably be Leo. We're not at all into that sort of thing and would hate anyone to think that was why we chose the name.

Elsa (Elizabeth Charlotte on the BC)

Our surname begins with S. Is that too many ss?

Rosa Elizabeth

Rose is really popular. Not sure if Rosa just feels like a slightly pimped up version.

Honest opinions please.

I love both Leo and Elsa and both were on short list when we had DS. I think Rosa is lovely and nicer than Rose. Really you can't go wrong with any of those names

Sorry that sounded weird-didn't know DS was a boy until he was born-hence Elsa being on short list!

I think that Leo and Elsa are lovely! Elsa always makes me think of the lioness, so they also feel like a great girl/boy pair

If you feel awkward about the Leo/Leo thing, could he be Leon, Leonard or Leonardo, and Leo for short?

Maybe Leon (might mean a different middle name as John might be too many -n s) or Arlo would be better than Leo if you are worried about the star sign (which I do think people would think you chose for that reason as he will be a Leo).

Or do as suggested ^^ and go with Leonard or possibly Leonardo.

Elsa is my preferred choice.

Absolutely love Elsa and Rosa. They were both on our list for DD along with Esme and Rowan. Leo is nice but not a favourite. I wouldn't worry about the star sign thing myself.

Elsa & Rosa are beautiful names.

I think Leo is great too.

I like Leo but wouldn't use it if the cat got there first.
Elizabeth Charlotte is lovely but Elsa doesn't really work as a natural nn. I don't like Rosa.
