A sister for Alice Violet? Just wondering what you think.
Thanks!

Eleanor is a lovely name, and this combination is great!

extracrunchy · 28/06/2013 14:16

Love it!

Rhubarbgarden · 28/06/2013 14:26

Every other child has Rose as a middle name at the moment. It's getting a bit boring.

flossy101 · 28/06/2013 14:29

Lovely

MerryMarigold · 28/06/2013 14:30

I think Rose is a bit ubiquitous, but does sound great with a 3 syllable first name.

Love Eleanor. Well, it is my name! My middle name is Mary. How about that?

fussychica · 28/06/2013 14:36

Totally lovely. Your first names are both in my all time favourites.

RaRaZ · 28/06/2013 14:54

Lovely :-)

bugsybill · 28/06/2013 17:26

Eleanor Iris
Eleanor Ivy
Eleanor rosemary

If you want to keep to the flower theme but want something less common than rose.

EleanorHandbasket · 28/06/2013 17:28

Perfect Grin

bugsybill · 28/06/2013 17:43

Or Eleanor Indigo if you want a colour theme :)

Rhubarbgarden · 28/06/2013 17:46

How about Eleanor Fleur for another single syllable floral name?

mrstowers · 28/06/2013 19:26

Ellie Rose? Yawn. Sorry.

GW297 · 30/06/2013 00:36

They go perfectly.

AllegraLilac · 30/06/2013 01:37

Agree with Mrstowers. She'll be one of many.

jamtoast12 · 30/06/2013 23:32

Very common name but still nice:) agree rose and may are sooooo popular as middle names - its getting boring!

WhereMyMilk · 30/06/2013 23:38

Beautiful, biased though as I have one!

DonDrapersAltrEgoBigglesDraper · 01/07/2013 09:55

Eleanor is lovely.

Rose as a middle name? Really....? You can't think of anything else? Hmm

But ... there's so many beautiful girls' names out there...!

MrsCosmopilite · 01/07/2013 09:57

I think it's sweet. Classic, timeless, and with plenty of opportunity for nicknames etc. as and when your DD wants to use them.

Agree, Rose is common as a middle name now. My DD has it. But it was for personal reasons, not 'on trend' reasons. :)

antshouse · 01/07/2013 17:12

I have one too. She's a teenager now though.

How about Eleanor Fern if you like the flowery, plant type middle names.

Weegiemum · 01/07/2013 17:17

I know 3 Eleanor or Ellie Roses between the ages of 3 and 7.

Different middle name. Or for a first name what about Elspeth?

dontmeanto · 01/07/2013 17:22

Eleanor Roosevelt, it sounds like. But she was a pretty remarkable woman so that's not a bad thing!

notadoctor · 01/07/2013 17:34

I absolutely love it as a combination. Maybe I'm biased because my middle name is Rose but I think it's a popular middle name because it sounds so lovely with other girl's names. I wouldn't worry about that.

TallulahBetty · 01/07/2013 18:13

Eleanor - lovely.

Rose - boring. Sorry. Just completely unimaginative. Are there any girls with a middle name other than May, Rose or Grace?

MoonHare · 01/07/2013 23:52

Love it. You have achieved naming perfection OP.

stickygingerbread · 02/07/2013 02:39

I am completely envious. My favourite name, and my grandmother's name, was Eleanor. Dh nixed it. So you must, must use it!
