Middle name for Cecily?

I love this name if our baby is a girl, but not sure what to put with it! Our surname begins with a G.... so vowels could be tricky as don't want to spell anything with initials.

Also 1 or 2 middle names? Might help with the vowel issue...

TIA :)

p.s. if you don't like the name thats ok but please don't post just to tell me that.

RaisingHooligirls · 27/06/2013 19:56

Cecily Joy
Cecily beth
Cecily Nina

something simple with no S or l sound.

Elquota · 27/06/2013 22:11

But Parsley is so overused as a middle name Rhubarb Grin

RaRaZ · 28/06/2013 15:10

Cecily Rose

Cecily Grace

Cecily May

Rosenip · 28/06/2013 17:00

Parsley? Wow, that's quite unique! I had an ex with the surname so don't think that will happen...

I was waiting to see the midwife yesterday there were 3 little girls there with mums, none related and 2 were called xxxxx-may.

I know a cecily bea but there was a mnetter on my antenatal thread 4.5 years ago Shock and she had Cecily Plum which i loved!

MadBusLady · 28/06/2013 17:27

Ooh I like Cecily Plum. It's even christmassy!

VodIsGod · 28/06/2013 17:34

My brain said Cecily Jane straight away and then I read the rest of the thread Smile It just sounds nice.

Rhubarbgarden · 28/06/2013 17:53

Cecily Parsley is a Beatrix Potter character. Your ex's surname rather rules it out though! Grin

Laquila · 29/06/2013 12:50

Cecily Thea
Cecily Eleanor
Cecily Ruth

From the above suggestions I also like Cecily Robin, if you do want something festive, and I LOVE Cecily Frances if you aren't bothered about seasonal!

ZZZenagain · 29/06/2013 13:03

I think I would choose Cecily Anne because it runs well and the Anne grounds Cecily which is quite a frilly name to my ear - and then add another name you like.

For instance: Cecily Anne Rose

TheFallenNinja · 29/06/2013 13:07

I assume at some point it will be shortened to Cissy?

BreakfastInTheMed · 29/06/2013 20:29

Another vote for Cecily Frances!

Cecily Frances Rose
Cecily Frances Grace
Cecily Frances Alice

Elquota · 29/06/2013 20:52

Frances is a lovely name but I think with Cecily there would be too much "s" (SSe-SS-ily FranSS-iSS) and they both have "si" starting the second syllable.

hels71 · 29/06/2013 21:26

My first thought was Rose...

IceAddict · 29/06/2013 21:33

I Love cecily wren or jane

LesAnimaux · 29/06/2013 21:46

The first name which came to mind was Cecily Grace.

ginhag · 29/06/2013 21:48

Cecily Honor

ginhag · 29/06/2013 21:49

Do like Cecily Grace tho

threefeethighandrising · 29/06/2013 22:10

Cecily Wren is indeed lovely :)

Bingo Rose, May and Grace are very overused these days.
Nice names, but if you don't have a reason for using them (e.g. honouring a relative) I reckon it's best to find something less popular.

bamboostalks · 29/06/2013 22:13

The minute I saw it Jane came to my mind. And how lovely to have family connection. It's a very pretty name.
