Zarina is great, I like it! Selina has a lovely meaning, but is a little semolina-ish though.

Lovely. I have a friend called Serena and she is intelligent, calm and gracious so a great ambassador for a fab name.

commsgirl · 28/06/2013 10:10

Honey - that's exactly the sort of person I imagine would be called Serena.

Thanks everyone.

Ok ladies I can't be the only one with a Serena from Ann Summers? As soon as I hear this name ( I recently worked with one) I think of the little pink vibrater sitting in the bedroom drawer and have a little giggle to myself.

AndHarry · 30/06/2013 08:04

I love Serena. It always reminds me of Venice. An Italian middle name would be beautiful.

LondonInHighHeeledBoots · 30/06/2013 12:57

Love Serena, MIL's name. We will use Seren as a MN for a DD. I think her middle name is Elanor.

I like Serena Ruth - I think it suits quite a short mn.

bugsybill · 01/07/2013 13:57

Sorry I prefer selina and sienna.

Also Zarina mentioned earlier.

ShabbyButNotChic · 01/07/2013 17:52

Love it! Top of my 'future baby' name list. But i was addicted to gossip girl....(serena van der woodsen is the main character for those of you that dont watch)

Turniptwirl · 01/07/2013 22:02

I know a preteen Serena and actually like the name more since meeting her

seriliza · 03/08/2013 00:14
