Rafael or Rafa

Ok so it might be pretty awful of me to get a name idea from a tennis player, but heard this today and absolutely love it...any thoughts? xx

I love both of them and both my DC have boring names as their mother has boring taste
Would probably go for Rafael and use Rafa as a nn.

I love it, It is on our list for a DS if we ever have one. Spelt the French way though. I don't think people would automatically make the link with the tennis player!

Would spell it Raphael unless you have latino connection.
