Lovely names and a great combination Smile

Aww nice name. Don't hear of many Phoebes but lots of Graces as a middle name. I like it anyway.

YDdraigGoch · 18/06/2013 13:41

Phoebe and Grace both v v popular round our way. Every second child seems to have middle name Grace.

Although you'd think Phoebe is very popular, I don't actually know a single one. It was ranked #24 in 2011, so it might depend on where you live.
Grace, while it's a lovely name, is hopelessly overused. It also appears to be one of the 'standard' middle names (like May and Rose) so it has lost a bit of its meaning for me.

I know a 4yo and a 3yo Phoebe. It's a lovely name, pretty but still strong. It has shot up the rankings in the last 5 years though but you'd be unlucky if there was more than one in her class.

I absolutely love Phoebe and think It flows really nicely with Grace. Iv heard it's really popular but I havnt come across any. My future DD will be a Phoebe. I think grace is used a lot as a middle name, along with May & Rose, or James for boys but they are classic nice names that do seem to go with pretty much every name. (my DS has James as a middle name so I'm not slagging it off). Id go with it Grin

ShinyBabyOfficialNosePicker · 18/06/2013 22:54

My DD is a Phoebe! Never met another as well (but she is only 12 weeks so still time!) Her middle name is Ann.

I like Grace, but agree it is very overused.

Now, you see depends where you live??

I have a niece (Phoebe, 13 and I've not met another) she lives South West , we live North West. We've lived here for 2 years and lived East before (Lincolnshire!)

I've NEVER met a Grace either and LOVE the name :D

My daughter is a Georgia (9) and my son (4) is Gabriel - again not met another

Yet i've read on here that they are VERY popular.

Phoebe Grace is Beautiful!! xx

I have never met a phoebe of any age and I think Grace goes beautifully.
