DS2 due in 3 weeks. Would like to have name shortlist ready but can't seem to agree on any with DP!
DS1 is Freddie George.

So far, he has vetoed my
fave which was Joseph.
I have vetoed his which was Spike Confused

Opinions on these:
Oscar/Roman/Luca/Louis??

Would also like middle name for him but we don't have any family names that we would want to use.

Roman is lovely - classic, strong, easy to spell/pronounce and not overused!

Not keen on Oscar or Luca at all, I'm afraid.

Do you think Freddie & Roman go together as sibling names?

Roman gets my vote. Freddie & Roman sound great together! :-)

MortifiedAdams · 17/06/2013 22:45

Louis is my favourite but dont think it goes with Freddie so Ill say Oscar (and I love Spike so would use it as a mn)

MoonHare · 17/06/2013 22:53

Oscar - quite like it
Roman - like this too but think it might be hard to carry off
Luca - like it
Louis - pn Loo-ee or Loo-is? Prefer Loo-ee but then you'd have rhyming names, so no.

Think as a sib-set Freddie and Oscar go together better, if that sort of thing matters to you, which it might not. Otherwise I think of your list Luca is best.

Roman. We are almost definitely going with this for DS2 in September.

AllegraLilac · 17/06/2013 23:23

Spike is pretty much the greatest middle name ever.

bugsybill · 18/06/2013 05:31

I like Joseph Spike.

Why has your dp vetoed Joseph? It goes so well with Freddie.

Out of your list I think Louis and Oscar go with Freddie the best.
