No. Isn't it a town in Colorado?

mosuzu · 14/06/2013 21:40

No.

InsanelyBrainDeprived · 14/06/2013 21:50

I like it

PixelAteMyFace · 14/06/2013 22:06

No. I prefer a more English name, like Croydon. Or Henley if you`re posh

Layl77 · 14/06/2013 22:09

Don't like personally, a bit 80's not cool. How about Denny Derry or one of their type?

Sheshelob · 14/06/2013 22:09

No. Have you been there? Not worth naming a child after.

valiumredhead · 14/06/2013 22:49

No, too 80's.

MrsTwgtwf · 14/06/2013 22:52

There was a crooner called John Denver (wrote Annie's Song, currently in an ad) who died/killed himself in his own plane (crashed) after a battle with alcoholism. Personally I'd have trouble with that association, although it's a bit niche.

BlueStarsAtNight · 14/06/2013 23:13

My first thought was "the last dinosaur"!

I actually don't mind it, I wouldn't pick it but wouldn't find it odd if someone said that's their childs name.

bugsybill · 14/06/2013 23:35

I like it and I love John Denver. I don't see it as 80s at all.

Also maybe you would like

Hunter
Evan
Cooper
Ethan

Alisvolatpropiis · 14/06/2013 23:53

What is it about the name that makes you like it?

It's not something I would choose myself

ItCameFromOuterSpace · 15/06/2013 06:15

I personally like it.

barnet · 15/06/2013 06:31

Nice!

fanjodisfunction · 15/06/2013 12:07

I don't mind it, its very american.

How about Devon as a british alternative?

candr · 15/06/2013 20:38

DS has a place name but not well known and unusual so wanted DS2 to have unusual but not wierd name too. Does not have to be place name but saw Denver in a book. Love John Denver music too. Know 2 kids called Devon round here. Croyden is near my parents and not a favourite place and live very near Henley so bit strange. Other ideas welcome.
