Dd2 due any day now and we are still struggling to find "the" name. We both quite like Tabitha and Jemima but aren't 100% sure. Any comments and other suggestions very welcome! Thanks.

Both very nice names. How about Jessamy? Bethany? Stella? Good luck!

I love both those names...you can't go wrong.

Would also suggest Rosalie, Vivienne, Marianne, Margot, Cora.

I think they all have a classy, vintage feel to them too.

Good luck!

Love Penelope and Clementine!

MrsJohnHarrison · 11/06/2013 11:45

Tabitha is nice as is Clementine. My favourite girls names are Emily and Imogen.
Congratulations on your new DD.

The first name that came to mind was Matilda. I like Tabitha though. Jemima reminds me of the doll from Playschool!

I prefer Tabitha, but I think the most important thing is that you love the name you choose. You'll say it A LOT Wink

HorryIsUpduffed · 11/06/2013 12:43

Friends are trying to talk me into Tabitha nn Kitty at the moment. I love it but don't know if I'm brave enough.

Jemima is nice but I'd be anxious about the Puddleduck thing. The Jemima I was at school with got that nickname/teasing Sad

I love Juliet, or Guinevere nn Jenny. DH vetoed Agatha.

Iusedtowearmakeup · 11/06/2013 13:14

The Puddleduck thing doesn't concern me as I don't think it's an association the younger generation would necessarily make (and I personally don't think it's bad association anyway!) My Dh seems to prefer Jemima. I really like both and keep wavering between the two!
Some excellent additional suggestions above to confuse us even further! Do keep them coming, very much appreciated!
