Which of these do you think is nicer and can you suggest any that are along similar lines?

Rafe Arthur
Or
Arthur Freddie

Dh has vetoed Toby, max, theo and Rory.
Ds has a very popular name so something that's not overly popular would be fab. Thanks!

Arthur Ralph and call him Rafe.

QuietNinjaTardis · 05/06/2013 13:14

I did think of Arthur rafe but the two r's together sound a bit odd to me. So difficult. Got my girls name all sorted buttons are more difficult cos dh vetoes everything I like! Did the same with ds and he eventually ended up as the one name that dh suggested!

Rafe, cute for a baby and cool for an older boy. Not too unusual but not common either

Arthur Freddie

I have no idea why I'm talking about buttons! I think its meant to say but boys are more difficult.

Rafe Arthur

Rafe is cool, timeless and not overused/trendy (which I feel Arthur is becoming).

Exhaustipated · 05/06/2013 13:59

Both great, but Arthur is set to be pretty popular if that will bother you.

QuietNinjaTardis · 05/06/2013 14:42

Thanks everyone. Seems fairly even so far.

Rafe Arthur

DS2 would have been Rafe, but DS1 is Wilf - too similar. I love it!

StellaNova · 05/06/2013 15:02

Rafe Arthur, as long as your surname doesn't begin with T!

Owllady · 05/06/2013 15:02

I would prefer it to be formally Ralph with a shortening of Rafe, but it isn't my baby :o

QuietNinjaTardis · 05/06/2013 18:08

Ha. Ha owllady! I prefer rafe I must admit.
Our surname begins with b so think we should be ok if we go for it. If we have a boy. I don't actually know yet!
