It is unisex. I know one of each, both spelt the same (ie).

noxius · 28/05/2013 01:51

I'd guess boy, but it could definitely be either, and unisex names are a good thing, at least I think so.

noxius · 28/05/2013 01:51

Either spelling for either sex Smile

I think boy (homeland character - think his surname but they call him by it!).
Bronte or Bridie similar for a girl Smile

Ummm. I see you asked for opinions in your original post.

But not negative ones.

O. K.

Btw I think its awful too. There you go.

Wishfulmakeupping · 28/05/2013 09:31

Only know male Brody in RL and off telly - Brody Jenner

Opinions regarding if you think it's a boy or girls name.... Typical mumsnet you always get the negative bitch... Or two..... JOY.

We do not wish to accept people on here's likes or dislikes to the name itself as that is not what the question was...

So there YOU go Grin

As always in cases as personal as naming ones offspring, the best course of action is to keep it to oneself in case of alternative views.

Smilehappy · 28/05/2013 12:55

But I wasn't asking if you liked it... Just if people thought it was a girls or boys name....

If everyone just stuck to the question at hand I wouldn't become so defensive but yes it is personal and I feel your comment was negative and unwanted...

This place never fails to amaze me. Hmm

There's a few male Brodies in dd's school, no Brodys. It's quite popular here (Australia).

Justfornowitwilldo · 28/05/2013 15:21

Neither. It's a surname to me.
