I know one 2yo Penelope (Penny). Very sweet but not at all popular in this area (South East commuter belt)

It has been discussed quite a bit on here, which makes me think it's definitely 'coming back to life'. Also because one of the Kardashians named her daughter Penelope - I think she's about a year old now?

Only know one - my aunt who's about 60!

Love it, with Penny as NN. Can't use it as we have a dog in the family called Penny....

It's a lovely name! I know someone who called their daughter this and her nn is Sweet Pea.

I wanted to be called Penelope when I was little. Unfortunately I'd never heard it spoken so thought it was pronounced Penny Lope! I still think its lovely though. I don't know any children with that name.

Love it! Names on mn don't seem to follow statistics trend. It had risen in the American charts a lot since last year probably because of kardashian baby so will probably become more popular.

I don't know any Penelope's, but I love the name. It was on our shortlist for DS (before he turned out to be a boy, of course).

I love Penelope and the nickname Penny. I've known a few and they've been wonderful, wise, insightful ladies.

I know two - one is a gorgeous and successful thirty-something who is generally one of those people we all wish we were, one is two and absolutely charming. :)

Love it! It's classical but also known. Also, Tina Fey chose it fit her daughter, and I trust her judgement entirely

Was on my list for oldest dc. We didn't use it, but it was always a good second choice.
