Are there many babies called Cara about?

I haven't come across any very young Cara's. I know of two in their 20's but that's it.

Yes :( I named DD that (10 months old) and since then 2 newer babies in my direct acquaintance, plus someone my Mum works with's niece, someone DH works with's daughter. I am sad it will probably be top 20 or higher over the next couple years as I didn't want a name to date her like mine does. I blame that stupid model that is all over the tabloids.

I only know people in their 30s called Cara. It's a pretty sound so I'm not surprised it's popular.

Just had a quick look at the last statistics released, only 228 Caras born in 2011.

I don't know any! That was no. 1 name on our list for dd 10 years ago. But when she was born she didn't look like a Cara :(

I know one in her 30s and one who just turned 1 I think. I quite like the name but wouldn't use it as the one who's in her 30s is a bitch

I don't know any baby Cara's but I know an 18 yr old Cara and a 14 yr old Caragh. Both lovely girls.

I think the name is beautiful.

I very nearly called my DD Cara, but at the last minute went for a different name. After she was born I met 2 babies called Cara, both born within a couple of months of her. Other than that I know 1 Cara and 1 Kara, who are both in their early 30's. I think it's a pretty name with a nice meaning, and it's still on my baby name list. :)
