Hi, all. New here! Smile
Am about to have baby no.2 (aaargh) and have decided to call her Indigo, but can't decide on Elizabeth or Liz for the middle name (it was my mothers name - she was known as Liz, but I prefer the longer version)
Any thoughts?

xx

Elizabeth.

Indigo Elizabeth sounds lovely.

StellaNova · 14/05/2013 12:45

I think Elizabeth which is lovely. Indigo Liz sounds like a pirate or music hall star to me...probably just me!

Decoy · 14/05/2013 12:48

Agree with StellaNova. Indigo Liz does sound stagey, like a cartoon character.

Chocoflump · 14/05/2013 12:49

Definitely Elizabeth.

Beautiful name Smile

Definitely Elizabeth, lovely :)

Hahaha! Grin It really does sound like a pirate name, StellaNova!! I'm glad my son is at school and not reading this over my shoulder, or he would be insisting we use that!
I do prefer Elizabeth but was worried there might be too many syllables, however, I am absolutely certain on it now.
Thank you

What about Indigo Eliza? If worried about syllables. Otherwise Elizabeth

MolotovCocktail · 14/05/2013 16:16

Indigo Elizabeth as Liz as a middle name just doesn't sound right.

Lovely name, btw :)

Elizabeth for me too. Much nicer. Indigo Elizabeth is gorgeous. Congratulations!

Always worth checking: what will they spell with your DC's last initial?
