DC No 4 - nameless boy, Alistair or Felix?!

Baby No 4 is late, presume he's decided to stay in until I've chosen a name Hmm

Alistair (Alastair) or Felix? Love both equally but both have issues. DC 1&2 have the first initial 'A' so we could potentially have 3 A names - bit weird?

Felix is raising many eyebrows and H is not entirely keen but could be persuaded.

Help!

I love Alistair, but I am very biased as I am the exceedingly proud owner of a 2.8yo ds called........Alistair! Grin if it helps everyone who I have told his name to since birth has commented on how lovely it is :)

Theironfistofarkus · 11/05/2013 14:37

Alasdair definitely. Jude is nice but don't like Felix. Makes me think of cat food

Alastair or jude, felix is not good.

OkayHazel · 12/05/2013 03:12

Alistair! He might feel left out if he doesn't have an A name too. I would.

glorious · 12/05/2013 07:54

Another for Alistair

weasle · 12/05/2013 09:36

Jude!

If I was your non A initial son I'd feel a bit left out TBH. Alastair a nice name but I wouldn't use it for that reason. Jude is a great name.

weasle · 12/05/2013 09:37

Sorry, I mean your non A DC, presumably DC3.

TigerSwallowTail · 12/05/2013 09:38

Felix.

BoundandRebound · 12/05/2013 09:39

Jude

Don't like the others

SoftSheen · 12/05/2013 09:41

Alistair: middle aged man

Felix: young and cool

Jude: will date IMO

Definitely Felix!

SmallShips · 12/05/2013 13:18

Thanks all.

He's here - but still nameless. Added Jasper to the list.

I'm not sure he suits Alistair as much as I love the name and the 3rd A initial is bothering me.

Confused

Joseph - Joey as NN?

I love both! I'd go for Felix to avoid 3 kids with A names though.

SanityClause · 12/05/2013 22:10

I couldn't call DS Felix for a similar reason to why Alastair doesn't work for you. But I love it.

exoticfruits · 12/05/2013 22:15

Alistair

barnet · 12/05/2013 22:16

Jude is a great name

I like Felix

SmilingHappyBeaver · 03/08/2013 22:01

Felix all the way.

looki · 03/08/2013 22:09

Felix. Really like it. Not a fan of Alistair.

soontobeslendergirl · 03/08/2013 22:56

Felix, jasper - pet's names

Jude - it's okay

Alastair is nice - don't be put of with the three A's - in my OHs family, he is one of 3 boys with A initial (and 3 other siblings with other initials) it was never an issue.

Don't spell it with a d - that's really wet.

you can also have Alister.

thisisyesterday · 03/08/2013 22:59

Alistair for sure!!! so much nicer than Felix

Mollie272 · 04/08/2013 02:37

I like Joseph a lot - is on my list if I ever have a da

squoosh · 04/08/2013 03:28

Jude - really like this name although it might date badly

Alastair/Alistair/Alasdair/Alasdhair - solid and sensible but verging on dull

Jasper - awful

Felix - beyond awful, completely wet. I actively dislike this name and my mind BOGGLES at its current popularity.
