Frederick and ...?

DS is Frederick Benjamin (Freddie). DP and I both like Arthur for a boy (Freddie was almost Arthur but it didn't really suit him when he was born), and Sidney. I like Beatrice very much, but DP not so keen, and we both like Annabelle, although I much prefer Beatrice. What else might we like??

Lucy? Like A Room with a View.

FoofFighter · 29/04/2013 19:49

Matilda

Freddie and Arthur are both on our shortlist.

I like Sidney, and it is a family name, but I am worried that it is a little feminine nowadays.

Other boys names that I like and are in a similar vein are Bertie, George and Hector.

Beatrice is lovely. I think Matilda and Tabitha are great too.

X-posted with Foof. Great minds...

That's what worries me a bit about Sidney. Although it seems to usually be spelt Sydney for girls (where I live at least).

We've got a Freddie & a Bertie (Albert). Harry was a close second choice but was discounted as it's so popular. DH wanted George but I vetoed as it sounded too much like the Weasleys for my liking! Top girl's name was Matilda.
