We have our boy's name chosen but we are struggling to agree on a girl's.

Please tell me your favourite:

Harriet
Julianne
Anneliese
Alessandra
Annelie
Zara
Alexandra

But it should be YOUR favourite, not ours Smile!

Personally I like Zara, Alexandra and Juliane, but you and your dh should like the name. It should also sound nice with your surname imo.

Patchouli · 25/04/2013 14:05

I quite like Harriet and Julianne

Is Alessandra a popular name? I've never heard it and would think you had difficulty saying Alexandra properly if I heard it.

shelli135 · 25/04/2013 14:10

I like Zara and Harriet Smile

katkoala · 25/04/2013 14:10

Harriet gets my vote Smile

Madamecastafiore · 25/04/2013 14:12

Love Harriet so much I got one myself!

fussychica · 25/04/2013 14:17

All good - probably Harriet and Alexandra but my favourite would probably depend on which goes best with your surname.

hellokitty124 · 25/04/2013 14:19

Agree that you should love the name (unless you're looking to avoid the popular/loved ones), but my favourites are Zara and Alexandra/Alessandra.

thermalsinapril · 25/04/2013 17:11

Alexandra

dontblameme · 25/04/2013 19:31

Alessandra is really pretty and gentle-sounding. I also love the name Alysse (ah-leece) but would worry about spelling/pronounciation. What about Elise?

ABirdInTheBush · 25/04/2013 20:48

Harriet (I love Hattie as nn), Zara or Alexandra - but Lebkuchenlover is quite right, it's whichever name you love and goes well with your surname.

scarlettsmummy2 · 25/04/2013 20:52

Harriet

Ham69 · 25/04/2013 20:53

All lovely but I'm also a Harriet fan.
I'd be worried 'Annelie' would sound too similar to 'analy'. Sorry!

MummyBurrows · 26/04/2013 01:10

I love Anneliese! It was on my shortlist but DH vetoed it :(

I like Anneliese and Julianne. Good Luck!

baskingseals · 26/04/2013 07:18

You've got my name and my dd's name on your list.

I think they are all lovely names, choose your favourite.

TSO · 26/04/2013 07:25

I love Anneliese although having a cousin of that name I might be a little biased.

MsAkimbo · 26/04/2013 07:29

I agree you should choose whichever one you love. But since you asked Wink...

Alexandra is my favourite.

SlimFitWellies · 26/04/2013 07:31

Love Alessandra, i agree it sounds very soft and pretty.
