We're having a DD next month and have pretty much decided on the first name Margaret. (She'll be Maggie for short)

DH wants something like Grace in the middle but I'd like something a little different.

We've had five more inches of snow this week Angry and I feel like winter is going to last forever!

I'd quite like to give my May baby a middle name that reminds men of Spring.

I like Wren and Lilac...any other suggestions?

Not Loon perhaps! Although I love the sound that loons make. It's wonderfully haunting.

Wren is so lovely... What about Willa? To me it sounds fresh and light, like spring, but it is almost like willow, which is a bit spring-y too Grin

(I bloody love the name Willa but dp thinks its awful Sad

Margaret Maye (is it too much?)
Margaret Skye
Margaret Lil
Margaret Fay
Margaret Nell
And Margaret Wren is adorable.

Maggie May is great!

or Maggie Joy - spring is happy

or how about Maggie Ray, as in sun rays, sunshine - I'm not sure

amazingmumof6 · 28/04/2013 20:15

Maggie Spring even? hmmm, not sure either

mrspaddy · 28/04/2013 20:18

ah I am not great with ideas but I just love Maggie. Adorable.

Jane ?

Ps Love Maggie May too.

Primrose is perfect! You are totally right, middle names are made for the 'out there' names, and Primrose sounds fab with Margaret and Maggie Grin

amazingmumof6 · 28/04/2013 20:24

sorry but I just have to suggest Simpson as the middle name Grin

Rhubarbgarden · 28/04/2013 21:08

Wren is so lovely, please use it! Or how about Linnet if you are after a bird name? Or
Celeste - blue skies
Celandine - probably too long but a wonderfully cheery spring flower

KittenofDoom · 28/04/2013 22:39

Most birds aren't particularly spring-like, apart from Swallow which is probably not a good choice Hmm

I said Celandine. Surprising that hasn't caught on as a name really, it's melodic and a lovely flower as you say.
