Fraser and ailsa?

are these names too similar?

DS is Fraser and I am due in 2 weeks and am having a crisis finding baby names this time. We have thought about Ailsa which DH really likes but I think the two names sound too similar.

What do you think?

They're only similar in that they are both Scottish, but lovely strong names and not too trendy. I know a Fraser and an Ailsa from my time in Glasgow and both were lovely.

Ailsa crAig is also a gorgeous place.

They do sound quite similar - two syllables, Ay-uh vowels.

Both gorgeous names, both on my list! But yes I think Ailsa is too similar sounding.
How about Eilidh? Or Alice?

Or Elsie or Isla?

Too similar sounding for me.

Thanks for your input. DH is now sold on not having ailsa, so little one will be Anna (or Rory).
