We've got the middle sorted

I'm expecting my second bubby in November, and we've decided on (if it's a girl) Rose for a middle name in memory of MIL who we sadly lost just over a year ago, but I'm struggling with first names. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Georgina,
Isabel,
Imogen

what sort of name does dc1 have ? Classic or modern or ....

RedlipsAndSlippers · 11/04/2013 21:52

Quite classic, she's a Daisy :) I quite like Isabel but there are three of them in the family already, so maybe not! Not so keen on Imogen, like Georgina Rose but my other half's much more into really girly names.
Thanks :)

Rose lends itself to longer, girly first names I think so shouldn't be too hard to please your husband at least.

How about:
Arabella, Annabella, Amelia, Aurelia, Cassandra, Carolina, Cecilia, Cordelia, Camilla, Clarissa, Evangeline, Emanuella, Felicity, Francesca, Gabriella, Henrietta, Hermione, Indiana, Joanna, Katerina, Lilianna, Louisa, Madeleine, Melissa, Miranda, Matilda, Natalia, Natasha, Olivia, Ophelia, Octavia, Philippa, Priscilla, Sophia, Seraphina, Tallulah, Victoria, Vanessa

Or, if they're all too different from Daisy, then what about:
Amy, Alexa, Alyssa, Bonnie, Bella, Ciara, Clara, Ella, Eva, Elsa, Edie, Esme, Elsie, Gianna, Hollie, Isla, Julia, Jasmine, Katie, Lucy, Leah, Layla, Mia, Nia, Orla, Polly, Sadie, Sasha, Sophie, Tia, Thea, Xanthe, Zoe

We've also chosen rose for a middle name and going with susannah rose. Agree a longer name sounds pretty with rose.

If we were having a girl, she was going to be Bethany Rose and I secretly as DH wasn't keen planned to use the nn Betty.

Found out yesterday it's. boy so it's all yours! ;)

Offcolour · 12/04/2013 13:51

I love Ellen Rose but dh wasn't keen (and dc2) was a boy anyway.

Ooh there's some lovely ones there :) defiantly agree that a longer name sounds good, Jessica Rose is lovely!
