Posted a little while ago, we've got a brother for Wilf(red) on the way in July.

My faves (in order)

Rafferty
Gilbert (nn Gill,Gilly, Bert, Bertie - although a good friend's dog is called this!)
Heathcliff (nn Heath)
Herbert (nn Herbie)
Barnaby (nn Barney)

Assume we'll use a nn where written. Thoughts?!?

Love love love Rafferty and Barnaby. High up on our list. Not a fan of Heathcliff sadly, for the all too obvious literary ref, possibly a middle name? But go for it, if this makes you only love it more!! Wilfred is a great name.

He'd only ever be known as Heath so maybe I get over my obsession with full names! Ha.

Please throw in any more in this style if you think they could work.

DH and I still aren't agreed on one name Grin

Herbert is great, and you have Bertie as an option as well as Herbie.

Heath is much nicer than Heathcliff unless you want everyone singing "Catheeeeeeeee! Catheeeeeeeee!" every 5 minutes thinking how original they are.

Barnaby/Barney also OK, but not keen on the other two.

Really LOVe all your names! ESP. Wilfred (your ds) Gilbert and raffety!
Other thoughts: Pip, Willoughby (Billy), Frank, Ralph pronounced the non posh way, Percy, Stanley (my ds) Gerald (a slightly left field choice that leaves me quivering with happiness - Roldy nn), Ned, Dicken
