Ed, Ned or Teddy more popular round these parts. (Wiltshire)

thegreylady · 08/04/2013 21:27

My Edward is Ted :)

lollypopsicle · 09/04/2013 07:58

It's on our boy short list but looks like we're having a girl. No plans to call her teddy, though.

thermalsinapril · 09/04/2013 11:10

I don't know any young Teds.

whyno · 09/04/2013 12:26

I know two babies so far this year, think its about to become super popular.

whyno · 09/04/2013 12:26

Actually 3 Edwards, only 2 shortened to Ted.

StetsonsAreCool · 09/04/2013 12:27

I know one little Edward nn Ted. In fact, he's the only baby Edward I've known in years.

I think it's a lovely name.

KathySeldon · 09/04/2013 15:02

I know of two.
And I don't like the name.

spottyock · 09/04/2013 15:12

Getting more popular. I love it and a front runner for this baby.

womma · 09/04/2013 15:13

I love it. Only know a dog called Ted though.

Ellypoo · 09/04/2013 22:41

I know 3 Ted/Teddy's and one Edward who doesn't have a nn yet so think its getting more popular.

SpanishLady · 10/04/2013 13:51

I like Edward and the NNs ( including Ned) but cousin had it for his son so we are thinking of going for Theodore if my second baby is a boy and then have the choice of Theo or Ted/Teddy as NN

Am in Scotland so ned has unfortunate connotations - so Ted for me.

fussychica · 10/04/2013 17:18

It's my neighbours dog - sorry - prefer Edward to Ed
