Sorry for those of you who have responded to earlier threads of mine!

A while back I posted about Daisy Alice for DC2. DC2, it turns out, is almost definitely a DD :)

We still like Daisy Alice, but do have the niggle about the girliness of Daisy.

DH likes Alice better than Daisy, but can't think of a middle name.

Does Alice Daisy work?

The only other thing we can think of is Alice Rose.

So these are the options:

Daisy Alice
Alice Daisy
Alice Rose

What are you favourites, and any other ideas?

I like all of those but like Alice rose best. All options are lovely though and there is nothing wrong with a little fuel having a girly name.

Alice Rose...
What is DC1 name?

Rose is very pretty but hugely popular as a second name, if it doesn't bother you go for Rose.

Am not Cornish but love the name Demelza, more unusual than Daisy.

I think Alice Daisy works. Any anyway, how often do people get referred to by their first and middle name? If the middle name is getting thrown in to conversation most likely the surname will too, and that changes the whole dynamics again.

Go with Alice Daisy

I like Alice Daisy. AD are good initials too, they sound elegant together.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/04/2013 17:02

I really like both Alice and Daisy (in fact, have used both!) but I'm not entirely convinced they go together. I think one name needs to be three syllables to balance the shortness of Alice or Daisy, personally. Alice Rose too short overall for my ear.

Alice Hermione
Alice Isabella
Alice Melissa

Daisy Susannah
Daisy Louisa
Daisy Vanessa

for example...

hawkmcqueen · 04/04/2013 17:05

Alice Rose

Allalonenow · 04/04/2013 17:16

Daisy Alice and Alice Daisy both work well.
I think Rose is very over used as a middle name, but Rosalie is just a bit more interesting, so Alice Rosalie is pretty.

abbyfromoz · 04/04/2013 17:19

Overused because of it's sheer awesomeness! (Mine and DD's middle name) Hmm

siluria · 04/04/2013 17:22

Rose is a very popular middle name, I know, but nothing else seems to go as well :)

DD1's name is Isobel Edith :)
