Which do you prefer? Our baby girl was born 5 days ago and we are finding it hard to make a decision. Our DD1 is called Molly.

What a lovely set of names! Helpful hmm?

I'd choose Thea, though I'd probably use Theadora. I love Florence but its quite trendy now, so will date. Alice is quite timeless.

Oh, unless you live in part of the SE where people pronounce th as f of course. Fee-a doesn't sound as good.

Molly and Florence
Molly and Thea
Molly and Alice

Have championed both Alice and Florence on these boards but I think in this instance I'd go for Thea.

Congratulations Thanks

Thea for me. Like Alice a lot too though. Florence is a bit faddy at the moment, sorry (though a beautiful name in general)

I love Florence, so timeless and really beautiful.
Thea is not my cup of tea.
Alice, as very nice.

Thanks everyone, really appreciate all your feedback. I still haven't totally decided but I agree that Florence is a bit faddy, which is a shame as it was my grandmother's name. OH likes Thea but I'm not sure it sounds like a proper name - need to mull over it for another day. In any case, if she's Thea, she will be Thea Alice (may register her as Theodora but call her Thea), otherwise Alice Rose. Thank you Smile
