Hi, Am due in about 5 weeks and can't decide on a middle name.

We've chosen Matthew as his first name. for a middle we like Adam or James.
They both go well without surname so which do you ladies prefer?

James.

Adam doesn't sound right.

peppertree · 31/03/2013 14:24

Matthew James is lovely
Good luck!

BNmum · 31/03/2013 14:39

James

coffeewineandchocolate · 31/03/2013 14:40

Seems like we're onto a winner with James!

Matthew James is lovely. I like Adam but it doesn't flow right after Matthew

TobyLerone · 31/03/2013 14:53

Matthew James = DS's middle names :)

James, and I say that as someone who should be biased towards Adam

farmersdaughter · 31/03/2013 15:25

Or both...

Matthew James Adam?

Love Matthew, everyone's heard of it but not hugely popular.

Snazzynewyear · 31/03/2013 15:30

James. Flows better as has been said. Matthew is a good choice.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 31/03/2013 15:32

Adam is my favourite of the 3 names, but agree that Matthew James works better. Personally, I'd forget Matthew and go with Adam James!

VisualiseAHorse · 31/03/2013 15:36

I love Adam.

But if you're set on Matthew as a first name, I'd go with James for the middle name.

VisualiseAHorse · 31/03/2013 15:36

Or both...??

QuickLookBusy · 31/03/2013 15:37

Matthew James.

Bowlersarm · 31/03/2013 15:38

Love all your choices. Just one thought from me-if you used Adam would his initials spell a name once you include your surname M A .....D? T? N? and if it does, would it matter

simplesusan · 31/03/2013 15:57

Matthew James.

seekingpeaceandquiet · 31/03/2013 15:58

thanks for all your suggestions. we have thought about the initials and they dont add up to anything wierd.
