I just can't decide. DP just says no to everything I say so I've been searching myself.

Hadley
Harlow
Marley
Lauren
Bella
Sophie
Sophia

I love Marley and Harlow at the moment but they are a bit different.

What do you think?

Lauren, Sophie and Sophia are the best on the list.

Still18atheart · 26/03/2013 23:20

Sophie or Sophia are the best

ladymia · 26/03/2013 23:21

Out of those I like Harlow

OkayHazel · 27/03/2013 00:44

Bella is my fave.

SergeantSnarky · 27/03/2013 01:27

Lauren.

Liked Marley until that bloody silly dog movie.
Still like Marnie in spite of that bloody Hitchcock movie
Prefer Halle to Hadley do like the journalist though

raisah · 27/03/2013 02:23

First three are boys names in my area but they maybe unisex. I prefer the latter half of your list, especially Sophia. Classic name that will see her through all stages of life.
Lydia
Rebecca
Lucinda
Georgina

Hadley, Marley and Sophie are my favourites of those, even though some see the first 2 as boy or unisex names. Paired with a really feminine middle name, I think they can be perfectly girly. I like Lauren too, every Lauren I've known has been lovely.

Madamecastafiore · 27/03/2013 03:52

Other than Sophia I don't like any of them.

All a bit common sounding. Have you ever been to Harlow? It's not the nicest of places!

Madamecastafiore · 27/03/2013 03:54

Hadleighs not that nice either, as a place that is. And unless you are going to have a petit kid who didn't hit any branches then calling it beautiful in any language could be bloody cruel.

But then I like names like Rupert and Celeste which you probably hate too!

DebK2012 · 27/03/2013 07:58

Bella

bootsycollins · 27/03/2013 08:08

Tony Hadley Spandeau Ballet

Harlow Essex

Marley and Me, Bob

Bella Lasagne Postman Pat, Twilight, Tweenies

I like Lauren, Sophie and Sophia is my favorite from your list.

I love Marnie as an alternative to Marley, Halle is also fab. Your list is quite a mix, what names has your dp suggested? Or is he just vetoing your choices?

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 27/03/2013 08:40

From a fairly unfluffy selection the 'softest' is Sophie which I like best, then would come Lauren, (if only there wasn't a mischievous puppy association with Marley!).

Like the suggestions of Halle and Marnie.

Am putting forward Piper, Lyra and Shannon (Shay).

Willow36 · 27/03/2013 08:52

Hadley
Harlow
Marley
Lauren
Bella
Sophie
Sophia

Marnie is a beautiful name. I went to school with a Marnie and mannnnn she was cool!

Hadley and Marley are not to my taste at all. I quite like Harlow though. Not keen on Bella.

What about Sofia over Sophia? Just a personal preference on the spelling.

Arabella? Georgiana? Harriet?

soontobeslendergirl · 27/03/2013 13:38

Sophia is probably my favourite, but some of your others are more Unisex names so i would also suggest:

Avery
Ainsley
Jaime

or more in line with your other names:

Megan
Lucy
Lillian
