I am due in 7 weeks with a dd after 2 ds. I am really struggling to find a name that I love.
Ds are called Benjamin (Ben) and Samuel (Sam).
Ideally I would like dd to have a longish traditional first name that could have a short nickname like the boys.
Then to be difficult I don't want one that's too popular ds1 is one of four Bens in his class.
Tia

I guess Elizabeth is the obvious one;
Eliza, lily, Beth, Lizzie

jimblejambles · 21/03/2013 16:41

Alexandra/Alexandria (Alex), Elizabeth (Lizzie, Beth) , Margaret (Maggie, Peggy), Penelope (Penny) would all work. I don't think any of them are massively popular at the moment, high chance your DD would be the only one in the class.

Margaret (Maggie/Daisy)
Rosamund/Rosalind (Ros/Rose/Rosie)
Antonia (Toni)
Francesca (Frannie/Fran/Chessie)
Penelope (Pen/Penny)

I have a margaret - always Maggie - sometimes Maggie moo or Maggs. Have never heard Daisy as a nickname though!

Love having longer names - mine is too and I like having a variation, I am different names to different people.

Love Francesca and Elizabeth, very traditional and would go with your boys names.

Good luck!
