We have a dd named Jessica so looking for something that goes with it.

Why not use erm, Lukas or Francesca? (I'd spell it Lucas though, random Ks never a good look in a name)

Ooooo yes I probably should have mentioned that the reason we are doubting the names is family disapproval of Lukas and we aren't sure if Jessica and Francesca are too alike iyswim.

Love Francesca! Dh didn't. I have a Lucas and thought it'd be a universal girls name ie unshortened or Franny for a girlie girl and Fran or Frankie for a tomboy.

I have dd Jesse (spelt the boys way) and planning on Francesca if Dc2 is a girl. Love Lucas also ( but please spell it with a c - the k spelling will only date what is a classic name IMO) but cant use for family reasons). So wholly approve of your choices and I say go for it!

What about claudia? I love both those names but i think if i had a francesca id use chessy or chesca as a nickname (frankie for a tomboy) i hate fran
