Chloe Isabella...?

It's for my friend who is nearly due and would like opinions, without telling lots of people in real life!

Thank you Smile

They go nicely together.

gingeme · 18/03/2013 22:47

Very good combination. Im guessing its going to be a girl ? Wink.

BikeRunSki · 18/03/2013 22:48

I rather like it, and know no one - old or young - with either name.

MortifiedAdams · 18/03/2013 22:48

Like it. Chloe less popular than Isabelle so a good way round imo.

AutumnDaisy · 19/03/2013 15:39

Thank you all. They don't know yet if it's a boy or a girl but haven't decided on anything for a boy yet!

I know a Chloe (3yo) pretty name.

iheartshoes · 19/03/2013 16:57

Very pretty name

MolotovCocktail · 19/03/2013 17:35

I prefer Isabella to Chloe as a first name, bit they're both lovely names :)

Still18atheart · 19/03/2013 18:02

Chloe is lovely - want to call my own dd that

LeslieWink1e · 19/03/2013 18:07

I like chloe and despite uts popularity i dont know one.p

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 19/03/2013 18:09

I wanted a Chloe but we didn't think DS1 would have appreciated it!

Lovely name, shame I didn't get to use it. Perhaps I'll use it for my next cat ...

MummyPig24 · 19/03/2013 20:49

I really like Chloe, it's a lovely name, not so keen on Isabella, there are a lot more Isabella's than Chloe's around here.

birdofthenorth · 19/03/2013 20:56

Like the Chloe part; Isabella feels frilly and faddy to me. Much prefer Isobel if she's really keen on that family of names.

bedmonster · 20/03/2013 20:32

Not keen on Chloe, really like Isabella. Know a little girl Isabella who goes by the name Bel. It's an ageless name for me, suits a baby, child and an adult.
I find it hard to think of a 30 year old Chloe. That's just me though!

Snowflakepie · 21/03/2013 18:09

Both popular but for a good reason. There are 10 girls at DDs preschool and 3 of them are Chloe. It's still a lovely name.

PurpleStorm · 22/03/2013 00:01

Both nice names.

I haven't met a single Chloe. There's lots of Isabella / Isabel's around where I live though.

toobreathless · 22/03/2013 00:27

I'm not keen sorry.

Chloe: reminds me of 'clammy'

Isabella: can see why it's popular, to me it's frilly, faddy, and will date. Much prefer Isobel.

WafflyVersatile · 22/03/2013 01:22

They're lovely names and go well together.

ripsishere · 22/03/2013 01:25

Much prefer Isabella to Chloe. But that's because a horrid little girl called Chloe bullied my DD.

Guavasforbreakfast · 23/03/2013 16:02

I'm a 30(ish) year old Chloe! Have always loved my name as it wasn't common yet not anything I could be teased for. I only ever knew one other when at school, I work with one in her early 20s and I teach one (7) now. Never shortened to anything by family or friends so no worries on that front.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/03/2013 16:02

Love Isabella but dislike Chloe.

bedmonster · 23/03/2013 16:19

Ah! Sorry Guavas, nothing personal against the name! And i'm glad you love your name, have always hated mine! :)
