Leaf Grin
Sorry, err, lolo?

LifeIsBetterInFlipFlops · 12/03/2013 21:38

Boy or girl?

MolotovCocktail · 12/03/2013 21:42

Assuming Willow is a girl, then: Will, Willa, Wills, Lolo, Lola, Lila, Lilo, Lili/Lily.

Catchingmockingbirds · 12/03/2013 21:57

Girl Smile I love all these suggestions.

Willow's beautiful why do you need a nickname?

Catchingmockingbirds · 12/03/2013 22:11

My son struggles to say the name ATM, so would like a shorter nn for him to use.

pinkje · 12/03/2013 22:13

Have you had the baby then?

Catchingmockingbirds · 12/03/2013 22:20

No not yet, we're sold on the name though and have told DS that it's our favourite and the one we'll probably use. He's 6 but has AS so struggles to say certain words.

steppemum · 12/03/2013 22:26

Let him find his own way of saying it, his own nn for her.

My Lucy was Susi for a long time, twas very sweet.

steppemum · 12/03/2013 22:27

Oh I forgot, Lucy is a abbreviation of a longer name. ds couldn't say the long name or remember it, so we made up a song with name in it.

badtime · 12/03/2013 23:14

Billie? It makes as much sense as it does for William!

Shr0edinger · 12/03/2013 23:15

you gotta be kidding with Lolo

isn't that slang for tits?

Shr0edinger · 12/03/2013 23:15

in French

Catchingmockingbirds · 12/03/2013 23:23

That's really sweet steppe.

I've never heard of that shr0, although when I typed Lolo into google a French politician's name popped up for some reason. I'll investigate more though, just incase I inadvertently call my dd the slag for tits Blush.

Catchingmockingbirds · 12/03/2013 23:26

You're right schr0, it's the French slang for tits, and the name of the woman who made the Guiness world records for having such huge breasts.

DD is Willow. We call her Willow Pillow. Not sure it's an actual nickname but when she was first talking she thought she was called Willow Pillow and would introduce herself as that BlushGrin

GiraffesEatPineapples · 12/03/2013 23:41

love willow we both were sold on it but no-one else was unfortunately, but if there was a no 4 it would be back on the list. Wil is nice but what about baba or something unwillow related too as others have said it might evolve naturally. My brother richard (richie i guess when little) was called wisy (me) and tea (little sis)

OkayHazel · 13/03/2013 02:30

Shr0edinger Have you come across Lolo Ferrari? TITS INDEED!!!
