I am Canadian and here it is certainly a girl's name. I know an Addison Ann and an Addison Elizabeth. I like both.

With rhubarb and lula...

WafflyVersatile · 26/03/2013 01:40

Jennifer.

Agree with other posters re Lee. Addison Lee fit well together but is the name of a London taxi firm!!!

Addison Taylor

elQuintoConyo · 26/03/2013 05:42

So, would Addison be the middle name? I'm confused (forgive me, it's early).

As a middle name = great; as a first name = horrible, imho. It sounds very harsh. You did ask!

How about:
Madison Addison
Harrison Addison
Bobby-Sue Addison
Savanna Addison

SuckingDiesel · 26/03/2013 06:17

It's a disease for me too, I'm afraid.

sashh · 26/03/2013 06:21

I am Canadian and here it is certainly a girl's name.

Yes but you are in North America where Mackenzie, Taylor and Shaun are girls names.

Bunbaker · 26/03/2013 06:24

Sorry, but the first thing that came to mind was Addison's disease

Then a boy's name. I don't like it at all.

exoticfruits · 26/03/2013 06:30

My first thought was a disease.

Gooseysgirl · 26/03/2013 06:35

Disease or the cab firm

Gooseysgirl · 26/03/2013 06:37

But in answer to your question OP, I think Rose goes nicely. I'd probably go with a one syllable middle name..

ChristineDaae · 26/03/2013 06:40

Wow it's a good thing I'm not one of them people who takes these things to heart!! But hey the world would be a boring/confusing place if we all had the sane taste!

ChristineDaae · 26/03/2013 06:41

Also OP - there is an Edwards Syndrome... That doesn't seem to put off the millions of parents who babe their kid Edward Smile

LandofTute · 26/03/2013 10:55

That's a bit different though. Edward is a very well known, long established boys' name /has been the name of monarchs etc. Addison isn't

wizzler · 26/03/2013 21:04

Joy... it's DD's middle name and I heartily recommend it ! Smile

StealthPolarBear · 26/03/2013 21:07

Thomas?

mercibucket · 26/03/2013 21:12

Syndrome? Disease?

Sokmonsta · 27/03/2013 10:43

May. My niece is adyson may. I'd go with a short name to balance out the syllables.

Tranquilitybaby · 27/03/2013 23:59

I thought Addison was a boys name too? My friends little boys is called that

Redbindy · 28/03/2013 00:03

Madison is the only option.
