Hi, I've got a Lucy and a Georgia and we're thinking of naming dd3 Jessica. It's a family name on dh's side and we both like it but I'm worried it's too similar to Georgia. Ideally I think I'd like a name that doesn't end in either 'y' or 'a' but we can't agree on anything. I do like the sound of Lucy, Georgia and Jess though. What do you think?
Thanks!

Georgia and Jessica are similar-sounding, but not enough to not sound good, iyswim. If you're worried though, why not name her Jessie?

Greensleeves · 08/03/2013 10:39

It goes very nicely with the other two IMO :)

What about Emma? That would fit nicely with the other names.
Jessica = Rabbit for me.

Jessica, Jessie, Jess or dare I say it Jekka all go well with your two DDs' names.

Thanks for the replies! Other thoughts are Charlotte or Rosie...

agree with Gleensleeves, works well with Lucy and Georgia and is a lovely name in it's own right (although I may be biased as have my own Jessica) Grin

I like it, sounds great with the other two. charlotte is also nice but Rosie doesn't go. :-)

I've got a Georgia and Jessica would be on my list if I was to have another DD. I have never considered them similar ... I think it goes well with your other 2 daughter's names .

Gorgeous, Jessica fits in perfectly with Georgia and Lucy, I like Jess and Jessie for short too.
