Helloo I've just found out I'm having a boy and I really want a unusual but not too crazy name.. I've come across the name Lexen, pernounced Lex-son or Lex for short and would really appreciate some honest feedback about what you think of the name.. Thanks :) p.s I also like the name Lucas but I think that's just the 'safer' option?

I like the sound of Lex and think that would be cool for a boy. Like Max but not as overused. Not sure about Lexen though. Why not just Lex?

Sounds like a brand of fridge.

NotTreadingGrapes · 05/03/2013 13:58

Lucas is lovely though!

Sounds a bit made up?

ImNotaPheasantPlucker · 05/03/2013 14:02

Sounds like a printer, sorry

Snusmumriken · 05/03/2013 14:05

Agree with Schmaltzing. I would worry that he might become a super villain.

Lexon, Lexington, Leighton, Lex, Lexin, Lenin

I could go on but will leave it there.

Better safe than being named after a juicer.

LuluLovesYou · 05/03/2013 15:03

Sounds chavvy

all of the names already mentioned including Lucas... but not Lexen. I think it's awful.. sorry Sad

GooseyLoosey · 05/03/2013 15:13

Lucas = lovely
Lexen = no

BabyRoger · 05/03/2013 15:14

I think it sounds like a prescription drug.

Lex is ok though. I know a couple of girl Lex's. I prefer Rex for a boy.

Yannah2006 · 05/03/2013 17:20

Lexen sounds a bit made up to me. Love Lex (he's a pretty good villan). Possible nn for Alex or Alexi?

SpaghettiBologneighs · 05/03/2013 17:31

What about Linus?

Anika1988 · 05/03/2013 21:48

Thanks every1.. I really love Lex on its own but just a bit worried that it's a bit girly? I'm not that keen on naming my child after a electrical appliance I suppose.. And I've never heard of lex Luther?! Lol something I will google now :)
