My dh likes this name for dc2. I also like it but am unsure about 'virtue' names since meeting a very miserable and dour Joy.

Any thoughts?

I love the name!

Bluestocking · 02/03/2013 08:31

I really like it and don't think you're asking for trouble!

It's a lovely name & my dd's name means patience & perserverance which isn't the right name for a 2yr old! It is a lovely name & it gives her something to aspire to later in life!

iheartshoes · 02/03/2013 19:00

I think it's lovely :)

Iseeall · 02/03/2013 20:11

I like it .Go for it!

My first thought is "brat from the Rugrats" Blush

Provably not helpful, sorry.

PestoFrostissimos · 02/03/2013 20:17

It's lovely, do it Smile

My DH also loves this name but like VinegarDrinker it just makes me think of Angelica Pickles! Sure that won't be a problem for your DD though - don't think it's shown anymore!

DessieLou · 05/03/2013 03:37

I think it's a pretty name. Go for it!

NotTreadingGrapes · 05/03/2013 06:20

I think you have to think about when she's 17 and a goth. And insists on being called Ange.

It's pretty, and cutesie, and perfect for a baby.

Not sure a teenage rebel would thank you for it though.

MrsHoarder · 05/03/2013 06:29

Prefect for a baby but its a name with baggage when she's a teen. I wouldn't...

telsa · 05/03/2013 08:46

I think it is very lovely and don't hear it is a virtue name. I have a friend called Angelique, which is also pretty.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 05/03/2013 18:12

I also immediately think rug rats.
