Zelda.....

Ok me again....sorry! So I came across this today and really like it. I know there is the video game thing but that doesn't bother me and I think the Zelda Fitzgerald association is fab. I like the slightly dark feel it has. So over to you all....what do you think????

I always thought Zelda was a good witch. I'm sure it will suit her(?) if she develops a penchant for black leather and crossbow practice.

I thought of Zelda Fitzgerald too (she was quite an unhappy soul though iirc). But I think the witch conection is likely to be made more tbh.

Didn't Robin Williams call his daughter Zelda?
I like it, wouldn't use it myself, but it's nice. Although you will have people asking wether you named her after Princess Zelda all the time, but if it doesn't bother you- go for it!

Was Zelda the name of the Witch in Terrorhawks ? Is that where the witch association is coming from ?

Its one of the most popular computer characters ever! It's all I would think about. Plus it's a little harsh sounding.

Robin Williams did call his daughter Zelda, because he is such a fan of the computer game.

[Shock] Not a name i could choose for a DD. It reminds me of my fathers teasing of me when I was a child " grizzly gri'Zelda!". With a vision of Zelda from Terrorhawk i'm afraid.

For a further witchy connotation I'm pretty sure the witch aunts in Sabrina The Teenage Witch were Hilda and Zelda. I realise I shouldn't admit to knowing such things!

Am I right in remembering there was a Zelda in a girls comic once? Bunty or Judy Blush. I think that was her name. She lived in a cave and had great adventures. I used to think she was great and wanted to be like her. plus my brothers wouldn't be allowed in the cave I think it is a strong name.

Ah I think its lovely and I used to know a Zelda who was a fantastic, imaginative person. I am not a nintendo friendly person, so that just wouldn't be on my radar.
