Middle name for Maximilian?

We have named our new baby Maximilian (but will call him Max) and we can't think of a middle name that goes. We also have a long surname so dp thinks we should miss out middle name but I'd like one-just can't think of one!
Any ideas?

How about something with 1 / 2 syllables max?

Hugo
Henry
Reuben
Rufus

I will try to think of more .... :)

Any significant family names you can /want to use eg maiden name, dad's name etc?
Otherwise think sounds good with traditional English 1 syllable name..

George

We have a Max - I registered him, and teased DH that I'd registered Maximillian William. He's actually just Max William.

I have a 13 yo Max. He's registered as Max.
No middle name.

If I want his attention I call him Maxwell (in a phoney Welsh accent) or Maximillion

Was there any need to be so nasty thistlelicker?

NoRoomForMeInMyBed · 24/02/2013 14:02

Haha mine is Maximillian William too, ive never realized its quite funny...

StartRight · 24/02/2013 14:14

I have a Maximilian Thomas.
He loves his name and nobody has ever batted an eyelid at it.

thistlelicker you must mix with some strange people!

Think I prefer just Max... easier to learn to spell and seems pointless having a long name if youll never use it.

Im sure something will just click!
