After my Alistair thread... What do we think about
Cameron for a middle name?

Surname starts with D.

It's... okay. Don't like Alistair at all though, and am only neutral about Cameron.

50BalesOfHay · 23/02/2013 12:00

My lovely brother is Alistair. My Grandson is Cameron. Fantastic names

IAmLouisWalsh · 23/02/2013 12:09

Has one hump?

BinarySolo · 23/02/2013 12:24

Sounds like a politician. Not necessarily a bad thing as it means they're both fairly classic.

Grin @ Alice the Camel reference! Wouldn't worry about that tho as generally middle names aren't used or even known.

AladdinOnRepeat · 23/02/2013 12:32

I thought of politics first.

I like both names though.

MadCap · 23/02/2013 12:36

Agree about it sounding like a politician's name. It sounds like a Tory's name at that!

Sashapineapple · 23/02/2013 12:41

Sounds like a politician. Not keen on either name, sorry.

twinklestar2 · 23/02/2013 12:42

Sounds like a Tory name! Will be fine once surname is added?

CruCru · 23/02/2013 14:57

It reminds me of Alastair Campbell.

kelda · 23/02/2013 14:58

Agree, a policitian's name. Which is NOT a good thing.

FollicallyEnhancedFreak · 23/02/2013 15:03

Yes the Tory thing did cross my mind.

Hmm.

eachtigertires · 23/02/2013 15:19

Sounds like a Tory politician (not sure if that's a good thing to you or not?!)

OkayHazel · 23/02/2013 15:20

Surely the politician references are because you've taken the first and last names of two very prolific men of our age?

Alastair Campbell, and David Cameron?

If you're okay with this, do it. But be aware that that is what everyone is thinking.

Geeklover · 23/02/2013 15:26

Has to be said I did think politician too. But it won't be hugely noticed with last name added.
I do like both names.

PixelAteMyFace · 23/02/2013 15:52

Both are lovely names, and go extremely well together.

By the time your DS is a teenager the politicians will be long-forgotten

Ruth22m · 23/02/2013 16:21

I like Cameron a lot!

doyouwantfrieswiththat · 24/02/2013 00:48

ahem

squoosh · 24/02/2013 02:43

I think politicians too. Squabbling ones at that.

nectarini1983 · 24/02/2013 20:08

Total politicians name.

louisianablue2000 · 24/02/2013 20:16

I like it but I'm Scottish and they are two good Scottish names.

MyThumbsHaveGoneWeird · 24/02/2013 21:26

Love it.
